After he kicked butt drawing my other character SUPERHERU I decided to ask CODY CONYERS to tackle my update of the public domain superhero The Ebony Owl, whom I’ve posted about before HERE and HERE. Sending him those two original images by Samax, Cody came back with the above image, and once again did a most excellent job!

Also, Christopher Mills has published his own updated take on The Black Owl (skewing more closely to the original version than I’m doing) in his own comic-book. I haven’t have time to review it myself yet, but you can read THIS ONE, and then pick it up yourself.
