Gus Kubicek aka Ibrahim Ramos is an artist I’m familiar with as we’re both members of two groups on Facebook, Public Domain Heroes and Public Domain Characters. Earlier this week he announced that he was offering commissions for the very cheap price of $10 (for a single character that’s already designed) or $20 (if he has to design the character for you), and I always liked his style, so I decided to take him up on the offer and have him draw THE EBONY OWL, my revamped version of the public domain superhero, The Black Owl.
I sent him the money Thursday morning, and I just got the above image today, Saturday evening. Pretty good job!
